The Medieval Monastery "St. Apostoli" is located in Old Sozopol, in the northeasternmost point of the peninsula - on Cape Skamni.
His remains were discovered in 2011. Before the opening of the present monastery, it was known only by documents.
The medieval temple is unique in its size. He repeats the plan of the Nessebar church “Christ Pantocrator”. According to the local legend, it was at this place that St. Ap. Andrew descended to preach Christianity. Later a church was built here, which later grew into a monastery.
